Individual That Touched Ariana Grande on the occasion of Film Launch Banned from Singapore

A man from Australia that leaped past a barrier and touched Hollywood star Ariana Grande has been deported and prohibited from Singapore.

The individual, 26, was sentenced to more than a week in jail for causing a public disturbance and has now been "banned from entering the country again," Singaporean immigration authorities informed local media.

The man shoved past photographers and rushed toward the actress and singer, who was present at the regional launch for Wicked: For Good on the thirteenth of November. Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo wrestled him away from Grande.

The individual has a record of interrupting performances and star-studded occasions, including jumping on stage at Katy Perry's Sydney concert in the past June.

The incident caused anger in Singapore, with several individuals accusing him of causing further distress to the star.

The singer has mentioned dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder after a suicide bomb attack at her concert in Manchester in May 2017 killed 22 individuals and affected hundreds.

During Wen's trial, the authorities learned he had made efforts to breach on the film's premiere on two occasions, according to regional reports.

He then made a another effort to jump the barricades. Security staff stopped him and held him in place.

The man subsequently shared recordings appreciating the celebrity for allowing his presence and said he was "released."

Authorities took him into custody the next day and charged him with causing a disturbance, to which the man admitted guilt.

The District Judge the magistrate was cited by Channel News Asia as stating that he was looking for publicity, noting that he was mistaken to believe he would not face any penalties.

Grande has not commented on the case.

Erivo spoke about the situation to a media outlet, saying that she "simply desired to make sure my friend was safe."

"I think he didn't intend us danger, but you never know with those things, and I wanted to confirm that she was alright. That was my first instinct," she commented.
