This young athlete has considerable online following
The young golfer will have numerous well-known supporters as she begins her professional golf debut this Thursday.
This teenage golfer, who is the granddaughter of Donald Trump, was granted a special exemption to play at the Annika competition in the Sunshine State.
Her grandfather, an avid golfer, operates numerous courses worldwide and regularly matches against his granddaughter.
"He's fairly competent. I can't say much but we play some close matches," she stated.
Kai explained that Trump, who won't be present, counseled her: "Simply don't get nervous."
"My grandpa practically suggested to compete and relax," she explained.
"To me, he's simply a regular grandfather. He can't make it for the tournament. He's busy with running the country, so he's rather occupied."
Being non-professional, Kai has participated in just three tournaments this year and holds ranking 461 in the American Junior Golf Association rankings.
Yet she can seek guidance from golf legend, in a relationship with Kai's mother.
"He represents the best player globally," Kai expressed.
"Furthermore, he's an even better person. He advised me to go out there, relax, following whatever happens."
The golfer will compete against several most prominent players in women's golf at the Annika, featuring second-ranked the champion, British golfer Hull, Lexi Thompson and last year's winner Lilia Vu.
The LPGA stated that Kai's presence brings golf to wider groups, specifically among youth audiences.
The social media influencer maintains millions of followers and just introduced her own apparel and wellness label.
Her first tee time at 17:30 GMT.
